CETRARO (CS) - "Industry 4.0: important for the research and development of technologies for agriculture and agri-food". "Said the PD Parent of the House of Deputies, Nicodemo Oliverio, on the occasion of the" Reforming - Open Political Training Workshop for a New Calabrian Democratic Season "initiative, promoted by the Young Democrats of Calabria. "The FAO said Oliverio estimates that food product growth and food needs will grow by 60 percent from the current average in relation to the world population growth of about 9 billion by 2050. And the globally cultivated area will grow to a negligible extent, while an increasing middle class will increasingly require a varied diet. While consumers will require healthier food selections in relation to their increased diet awareness. Just starting from these considerations "Industry 4.0" is a major and significant innovation in favoring access to agricultural businesses, investment support such as hypermongerization at 250% and over-amortization for the purchase of 4.0 technologies. Industry 4.0 plan also includes: - Investments to foster business access to the ultra-wideband, in coordination with resources for such infrastructures, including in European agricultural funds; -Attention of the cost of Ismea's primary guarantee for agricultural enterprises; -Regulation and extension of development contracts for agricultural enterprises and the agro-food industry; Enhancing agricultural and agro-food research with Crea. We are convinced that this plan will bring great benefits to the Italian agricultural and agri-food industry thanks to the important role played by the government and in particular the Minister of Agricultural Policies Maurizio Martina who participated in the "Industry 4.0" We must strike all our strengths for an ever more sustainable and innovative primary sector, focusing on research and new technologies, two fundamental elements that make one with precision agriculture. The new precision technologies in agriculture must reach up to 10% of the areas cultivated by 2021. Because only this way will we be able to face the major challenges of the international market. "
